With the release of GRAW 2 on PC fast approaching, Ubisoft has decided to offer PC gamers the chance to try out the game before it arrives in stores later this month.
PC owning Xbox 360 gamers will find what is essentially an entirely new game when compared to its console counterpart - offering players much more tactical control and in-depth team control.

Tomb Raider: Anniversary is released across Europe today, and it just so happens that Eidos has managed to get five Lara Croft models together in one place to take some snaps.
The photo shoot includes the current Lara, Karima Adebibe, plus Nell McAndrew (1998-1999), Lara Weller (1999-2000), Lucy Clarkson (2000-2002) and Jill De Jong (2002-2004).

In development at EA Black Box, Need for Speed ProStreet is the next game in the hugely successful street racing series. The new game will apparently take the series in a new direction, with players taking part in numerous racing showdowns all over the world.
The Autosculpt technology that was last seen in NFS Carbon returns, but is said to now impact your car’s performance as well as its appearance. AI racers will be aggressive and new online modes will introduce competitive social gaming.

Atari has today announced that to ensure gamers are given the highest quality Test Drive Unlimited experience, the scheduled Test Drive Unlimited patch will now be released in mid-June.
The main issues addressed in the patch are corrupted game saves, freezing/crashing at save points and performance problems.

EA has today confirmed that its hugely popular FIFA series of video games will return this year with FIFA 08 and for the first time will release on PlayStation 3 and Wii.
Two-time FIFA World Player of the Year Ronaldinho will headline a global line-up of superstars to be featured on the cover of FIFA 08. EA has also revealed that many of the cover stars, including Ronaldinho, Klose, Ramos, Barnetta, and Ivanschitz, are being motion captured for the new game.

The Japanese publisher and developer has reported record sales for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2007, up from $2.15 billion to $2.3 billion. The digital entertainment division, which includes video games, is the company’s main source of profits with a number of titles said to have performed well.
The Pro Evolution Soccer series sold more than eight million units over the year, more than in any previous year, and titles including the Dance Dance Revolution series and Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops were also singled-out for their strong sales.

Transformers excitement is present all around the Pro-G office, with the new live-action motion picture set to hit UK cinemas in July. We’ve also got the video game adaptation to look forward to and Activision has announced that the actors from the movie will reprise their roles for the game.
Live-action film leads Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox will star alongside legendary voice actors Peter Cullen and Frank Welker, the original voices of Optimus Prime and Megatron.

Sold alongside the traditional retail versions of the game, the three-disc Collector’s Edition will contain a bonus disk full of Tomb Raider art and trailers from the past ten years, plus a new retrospective documentary. This is also viewable online over on Gametap.com which will be released in parts over the coming weeks.
"The Retrospectives series explores the most beloved game franchises and their impacts on pop culture. With ‘10 Years of Tomb Raider,’ we show the history of this legendary series of games," said Ricardo Sanchez, GameTap’s vice president of content. "Fans of Tomb Raider will get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at one of the industry’s most successful game franchises."

Eidos has been adamant that there will be no next-gen version of the upcoming Tomb Raider: Anniversary game, but this doesn’t appear to have prevented the UK-based publisher from announcing a Wii version of the game.
"The Wiimote & Nunchuck controller allows Wii gamers to control Lara in brand new, unique ways, and there are plenty of new features, to be revealed soon, which will ensure Anniversary really hits the spot - literally," said Kathryn Clements, Senior Brand Manager, Tomb Raider.
