August 15th, 2007
By: CaptainKremin — Today one of the Pipex broadband companies is launching a new broadband product designed specifically for Wireplay users - it’s called Broadband for Gamers, BB4G for short, and is offered by freedom2surf (www.freedom2surf.com)
The package is designed to deliver the best possible performance for gamers wishing to play online games supported by Wireplay.
The product, which is based on freedom2surf’s top broadband package, delivers low ping times (in tests the reduction achieved over normal freedom2surf connections is up to 50% less), least hop routing (with only two network hops after the customers router and the Wireplay game server), line characteristics which set interleaving off for the customers ADSL connection and no traffic management on gaming traffic between the customer’s PC and the Wireplay games server.
freedom2surf are offering free activation (subject to a minimum tenure of 6 months), a monthly contract product and is offered at £24.99. BB4G is offered to all new subscribers with free inbound migration from other ISPs.
