EA has revealed the first details regarding their collaboration with Academy Award winning director and producer, Steven Spielberg. The first is an exclusive mini-game collection for Wii, and the second an ambitious contemporary action adventure for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
"I am a gamer myself and game development has always intrigued me," said Steven Spielberg. "Now I’ve been able to jump in and do it, enjoying the creative collaboration with the EALA team on our first two games and I feel we have two incredibly unique projects in development."
The Wii title will allow players of all ages to compete in over a hundred challenging, action-packed games for single player, co-op and versus gameplay. All the games will involve blocks and players will use the Wii-mote to create structures and bring them crashing down.
The second of Spielberg’s projects is a more ambitious title for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The title is described as a contemporary action-packed adventure that puts the player in the leading role of an emotional journey.
The game is set against a backdrop of an epic story and focuses on the ever-changing relationship between the player and a mysterious female character.
No release date for either project has been announced.
